eastern half of Kansas. Winds were generally less than 10 mph. 
Predawn temperatures ranged from the mid 50s to around 60 degrees.

A cold front will move south into mid-America today and will
stretch from northern Missouri into southern Kansas late tonight. 
Chances for showers and thunderstorms will increase over much of
the region today through tonight. Some of the storms will produce
locally heavy rainfall over far southern Kansas and northern
Oklahoma tonight.

High temperatures today will range from the 70s to the lower 80s.
Lows tonight will generally fall into the 50s or lower 60s, 
except for cooler 40s in northern Iowa and northern and western 
Nebraska.
